This third volume comprends:
-The Secondo Libro di Toccate in the version of the last edition (Rome 1637), with two compositions in the appendix that concluded the first edition (Rome 1627) and not included in the last edition.
- The Canzoni alla francese in partitura, published in Venice by Alessandro Vincenti in 1645, two years after Frescobaldi’s death.
- The collection of the various avvertimenti by Frescobaldi to “the reader”, in Italian and English, with a glossary of technical terms to facilitate the correct comprehension of these important texts: a valuable contribution by Edoardo Bellotti.
